Interference The interference in these images is an accidental digital by-product of cellular transmission. These glitches occurred at random, sometimes showing up as offset strips of digital information, misread signals made visual. Other transmissions resulted in extreme digital noise, repeated truncated forms or the addition of multiple color fields. The color aberrations are strangest of all, emerging from the black-and-white originals.

The end product is a fragmented, and unnatural beauty that may foreshadow our future environment should we continue our pattern of regular, persistent interference with the natural world.
